born 1959 in Linz, studied History, German Studies and Public Relations in Salzburg. He has worked as a librarian at the Stiftsbibliothek St. Florian since 1987. He is the initiator of the Strindberg Museum in Saxen (Upper Austria), which is the only museum dedicated to the author outside of Sweden. He has published numerous works on August Strindberg’s relation to Austria.
